The Harvard Medical School/Dana-Farber Update for Cancer Medicine and Hematology:
This CME program is designed by leading faculty and master clinicians. It offers new and returning attendees the opportunity to stay current with clinical advances across the major areas of cancer medicine and hematology.
The curriculum focuses on state-of-the-art approaches to clinical challenges and the best ways to apply these approaches to your practice. The course is both comprehensive and practical, with emphasis placed upon medical management and recent advances in molecular genetics, clinical pharmacology, epidemiology, and supportive care, including:
-Emerging information on molecular diagnostic testing
-Updates on novel therapies
-Advances in treatment paradigms and approaches to multimodal treatment planning
-Incorporation of risk factors, new therapies, and clinical trial data into treatment plans
-Effective control of pain, emesis, and infectious complications
Best practices for long-term follow-up strategies in cancer survivors
In addition to lectures, this course includes interactive panels, Q&A forums, and case discussions. We encourage you to bring questions and pose them in these interactive sessions and one-on-one with faculty.
