Surgical Pathology for the Practicing Pathologist; a HMS CME course
Sunday, March 17, 2013
The continuing expansion of knowledge in diagnostic pathology with description of new entities and enhanced incorporation of new modalities such as immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology into the discipline mandates practicing pathologists staying current with all these advances. In addition, the importance of correlation with enhanced clinical modalities such as imaging studies and others further add to the complexity of the discipline.
The objective of this course is to provide a comprehensive review of selected areas in surgical pathology with special attention paid to common diagnostic problems. Instruction will be primarily by lecture along with frequent discussion periods. Each participant will receive a comprehensive course syllabus and a CD-ROM depicting most of the presented material.
