Topics in Breast and Gynecologic Cancers: Management of High-Grade Breast and Ovarian Cancers

This half-day program designed for oncologists, primary care physicians, gynecologists, nurse practitioners, and other interested clinicians will focus on high-grade malignancies in women, specifically advanced ovarian cancer and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Faculty will share the latest genetics information as it relates to susceptibility to these malignancies and implications for personalized medicine in treating these cancers. Through lectures and case presentations, the course will update attendees on current treatment options and offer strategies for addressing complex clinical challenges faced by providers in treating and managing these diseases. * ACGME COMPETENCIES: This course is designed to enhance one or more of the following Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education competencies: Patient care - Medical knowledge - Practice-based learning and improvement - Professionalism - Systems-based practice.
